West Palos Verdes area of RPV 4th Quarter 2014 Market Report

The West Palos Verdes area of Rancho Palos Verdes( area 170 in map below ) had the following real estate market activity for single family residences during the 4th Quarter of 2014:

Properties Sold: 6


Average Sales Price of homes sold during 4th quarter: $ 2.1 million (The sales statistics for homes in the West Palos Verdes area may be distorted due to the fact that homes in the Ocean Front Estates next to the ocean are high end estate properties while the rest of the area to the east of Palos Verdes Drive tend to be more moderately priced older homes.)

Properties for Sale as of 12/31/2014: 11 (About 5 months of inventory based upon the average number of homes sold per month during the last quarter of 2

Average List Price at 12/31/2014: $ 4.9 million

Average Price per Sq. Ft. for Properties Sold during 4th Qtr: $ 562 per sq. ft.


Properties sold at an average of 91% of Original List Price and took 2 to 4 months to sell during the quarter.
