King Harbor Boat Parade Saturday – December 13, 2013

Stand- Up Paddle Board Kick-Off at 4:15 PM / Boats at 5:30 PM

In its 22nd year, this premier community event harnesses the joy of the holiday season.
Brightly decorated boats parade through the marina trying to capture one of the eight event
trophies. This year’s theme “Dive into the Season” is a tribute to Bob Meistrell, whose family will be serving as the Grand Marshall.

9:00 AM to 3:00 PM

Start your day by viewing local enthusiasts cars at Ruby’s Diner 245 N. Harbor Dr. Share the joy by bringing an unwrapped valued at $5.00 or more toy being collected for “Cheer for Children” and youth led “Love in a Mirror”.

carolersThe Other Reindeer Strolling Holiday Carolers -2:30 PM to 5:30 PM

Enjoy the sounds of the season as the carolers stroll the International Boardwalk at the Redondo Beach Pier.










4th Annual Concert with Santa
3:00 PM to 5:00 PM

Greet Santa as he arrives at the end of the Redondo Beach Pier with his surfboard! Enjoy live holiday music and don’t forget to bring a new unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more for a local charity. For each toy donated, receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win pier prizes.

Best Viewing Locations

King Harbor Marina/Moonstone Park -Enjoy FREE bleacher seating provided by South Bay Galleria. Seating is first come first serve. Starting at 3:30 PM the Grilled Cheese and Skys Taco trucks will be serving an array of delectable treats. Gain entry from Marina Way.

Redondo Beach Marina Sportfishing Pier – Gain entry from the Redondo Beach Marina parking lot.

Portofino Hotel and Marina/ Sea Wall – View the parade from the comfort of the Portofino Lobby Lounge which will be fully staffed offering the full BALEEN kitchen menu. There is outdoor viewing along the Sea Wall. Gain entry from Portofino Way.

Seaside Lagoon Sea Wall – Plenty of excellent viewing as the boats turn in the basin. Gain entry from the Redondo Beach Marina parking lot.

Local Restaurants – Local restaurants that offer excellent views are Joe’s Crab Shack (They are currently taking reservations) On the Rocks, R-10, Ruby’s Diner and Sambas.
