Before and After my recent renovation

I recently renovated and staged a home on behalf of my client in preparation for sale with a budget of $40,000. The work included refinishing the wood floors throughout the house ( family room, kitchen, entry, hallway and 2 bedrooms), repainting the interior and exterior, new carpeting in 3 bedrooms and living room, new landscaping, various repairs and new light fixtures and door hardware.  The list price of the home is $1,548,000, but without renovation the list price would have been far lower than the budget to renovate. The following are some before and after pictures:

Living room before with dark ceiling and natural brick            Living room after with painted beam and ceiling and fireplace

Kitchen before with outdated oak cabinets                          Kitchen after with painted cabinets, new hardware, refinished floor

Family room before                                                           Family room after floor refinishing, painted ceiling and beam

Family room before with natural brick                               Family room after painting fire place, beam and ceiling

Stairwell before                                                                                       Stairwell after painting

Maureen, what a change from the before to after pictures. I almost need sunglasses to view the after pictures, becasue they are so much brighter due to the remodeling. Great job!
