"Night At the Museum " at the Point Vicente Interpretive Center

Girls and boys ages 7 to 12 are invited to join the staff and volunteers of the Point Vicente Interpretive Center on Friday for a night of fun and fantasy.

Kids can bring their sleeping bags, pillows, a flashlight and pajamas for a night of popcorn, movies and a scavenger hunt (inside the museum), crafts and lectures.

The program is designed to give parents the night off and the kids a night out. The behind-the-scenes evening offers a variety of facts (lecture and tour), fantasy (movie and storytelling), and fun (a museum full of kids at night). Snacks and breakfast are provided.

Night at the Museum will run from 6:30 p.m. Friday to 9 a.m. Saturday at Point Vicente Interpretive Center, 31501 Palos Verdes Drive West, Rancho Palos Verdes. Cost is $39.
