Home Price rise predicted for L. A. Region

Los Angeles area home prices are projected to rise 5 percent by next October, according to a report issued by First American CoreLogic, a Santa Ana based real estate research firm.  The Santa Ana firm , however, did cite the fact that about 1.7 million homes nationally are on the verge of foreclosure, what they call a nationwide "shadow inventory" that could weigh down prices as the properties come on the market.

Maureen, Very interesting.  In Naples, the prices have not risen as yet but we are posting 150 per cent gains in sales in the past few months.  Canadians are flocking to Naples to buy.  I would expect we would see gains as well.  Hope this is a trend, don't you?
